Mark dahlquist
Mark Dahlquist was born and raised in Pocatello. He has served his community in various volunteer capacities. He is a graduate of Idaho State University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Business Management. He spent 18 years at Farmers Insurance where he held several management positions. Prior to being elected as Mayor, he spent 19 years serving as the Chief Executive Officer of NeighborWorks Pocatello, a nonprofit housing and community development organization.
In 2022, Mark completed the NeighborWorks Achieving Excellence leadership program through the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Over the course of his career, he’s received several accolades and awards, including the past recipient of the Idaho State Journal’s Business Achievement Award for Outstanding Nonprofit Business Leader, Distinguished Citizen Award from the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce and the Award for Management Excellence while at Farmers Insurance.
